Our Purpose

1)   To continue to honor Peace Officers who have died in the line of duty while serving the communities of Riverside County, California.
     
2)   To continue to honor and support, through all possible means, the surviving family members of peace officers who have died in the line of duty while serving the communities of Riverside County.
     
3)   To endeavor to provide through monetary grants and / or in-kind contributions of goods and / or services, support for the maintenance and upkeep of current and future peace officer memorial monuments situated within the geographic boundaries of Riverside County, California.
     
4)   To support and assist through volunteerism, monetary grants, and / or contributions of goods and / or services, the organization and facilitation of a countywide ceremony to regularly honor, recognized, and memorialize the sacrifices made by peace officers, as well as the surviving family members of those peace officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty while serving the communities of Riverside County, California.
     
5)   To establish and maintain an emergency relief fund to assist surviving family members of peace officers who have been killed in the line of duty while serving the communities of Riverside County, California.
     
6)   To establish, maintain, and administer an annual memorial educational scholarship program to further honor the sacrifices and memories of peace officers who have died in the line of duty in service to Riverside County communities, while at the same time helping advance the higher education aspirations of worthy high school students.
     
7)   To cooperate with and assist where possible each of the following important organizations in carrying out their respective missions:
a.    National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Foundation (NLEOMF)
b.    California Peace Officers’ Memorial Foundation (CPOMF)
c.    Concerns of Police Survivors (COPS)
     
8)   To, through all lawful means, endeavor to raise and maintain adequate funds and assets with which to carry out all the objectives of the corporation as stated in these articles, the corporate bylaws, and / or other policies as adopted by the Board of Directors.
